Rara Lake, the biggest lake of Nepal situated in the western region in the Mugu District. Located in the pristine environment, trekking in Rara Lake offers an outstanding landscape of snow-capped mountains and its natural beauty. The trek in this region passes through a solitary path of lush forests and ultimately to Rara Laka. The major highlight of trekking here is the Rara National Park, where you get to see many wildlife animals like musk deer, Danfe, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan goral, Red Panda, and leopard. This wonderful journey begins with a scenic flight to Nepalgunj, then to Jumla. During the trek, the Rara Lake trail traverse through the Hindu Thakuri Malla and Tibetan influenced communities with rich traditions. This trek is free from crowds, inspired by its splendid beauty this trek is beyond the best.
