Chu Lo West peak is situated in the small valley of Manang “A typical Tibetan Buddhist Town”. At an altitude of 6410m, this peak is one of the most spectacular Himalaya for climbing trips in the Annapurna region. Chu Lo west peak is a part of Chulo Massif and also a part of Manang Himal, which is included in the Damodar Himal. It is also known as the highest peak among the other Chulus in the Manang Himalayan range. The eastern limit of the peak runs from Chako Peak (6687m) by the Hunlung Khola, Nar Khola, and Phu Khola and bounds by the Marsyangdi Khola and Mesokanta La in the south. This region is regarded as one of the best for the striking mountain views of the Fishtail, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna I, II, III, South, Tent Peaks and the natural scenes of the monsoon rain forest and rhododendron forest. The trail passes through Thorang La pass, Manang valley, and base camp followed by the North-West ridge that leads to the peak. It is one of the challenging peaks for climbers and trekkers as it is considered as a technical trekking peak which means it requires mountaineering skill.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation for the Expedition

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m) (8 hours)

Day 04: Drive from Besisahar to Dharapani (1860m) (6-7 hours)

Day 05: Trek from Dharapani to Chyame (2670m) (5-6 hours)

Day 06: Trek from Chyame to Pisang (3200m) (5-6 hours)

Day 07: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3540m) (5-6 hours)

Day 08:  Acclimatization Day at Manang

Day 09: Trek from Manang to Ledar (4200 m) (4-5 hours)

Day 10: Trek from Ledar to Chulu West Base Camp (4350m) (4-5 hours)

Day 11: Trek from Chulu West Base Camp to Chulu West High Camp (5170m) (4-5 hours)

Day 12: Trek from Chulu West High Camp to Chulu West Camp I (5800m) (5 hours)

Day 13: Climb to Chulu West Summit (6419m), then lower down to Base Camp (8-9 hours)

Day 14: Acclimatization Day at Base Camp

Day 15: Trek from Base Camp to ThorongPhedi (4450m) (6 hours)

Day 16: Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) then trek to Muktinath (3800m) (8 hours)

Day 17: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2710m) (5-6 hours)

Day 18: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara

Day 19: Flight to Kathmandu

Day 20: Departure from Kathmandu
